Gene is an expert in his field, and he takes great care in explaining everything from the perspective of the client. Many inspectors will come in, say very little, and jot down notes without clarifying anything. Gene is not only an experienced inspector - along with a VERY experienced electrician (one of the key components of your inspection) - but is a great communicator. Good luck finding BOTH a great inspector from a technical standpoint AND a great communicator; Gene is definitely great in both of these areas. Gene was honest with me about problem areas and also had suggestions about how to handle the problem areas if I were to decide to take them on. To be sure, Gene's suggestions were right on. I can't emphasize enough how important the electric side of an inspection is, which Gene is an expert in. My house was a bit crazy electrically, but Gene was able to give me peace of mind without scaring me with the details. I highly recommend Gene for your home's inspection.

Gene was great to work with as an inspector. He is very knowledgeable and great at explaining what he's looking for in his inspection. He also provided some excellent preventative maintenance tips. When I first got my license, I thought that all agents, inspectors and other so-called professionals in the field, knew as much as I did about Real Estate. BOY! I WAS I WRONG! Growing up in a family that has owned investment properties now for 53 and have worked on those properties for 41 years now (AND FOR FREE!!) I can tell you, there is a difference! I interviewed quite a few inspectors and majora of them had no where near the knowledge that I had. I have been using Gene since I got my license and will NEVER USE ANYBODY ELSE! Gene walked me through the whole house explaining each part of the house he was looking at. He constantly showed his depth of experience in those explanations. I feel confident with moving forward with the house

Explained *every* aspect and detail of the inspection in a way that even a novice can follow! Noticed details that I would *never* have seen (not to mention understand on my own). This wil likely be the only person I will select whenever I need a home inspection!

Gene understands what is important and what is not. He is very thorough and provides a detailed report with photos and descriptions that make sense. This is in great contrast to two home inspection reports we saw from other inspectors on properties that we were selling. Gene gets our top recommendation
